Landslides brought on by the constant rain have completely blocked two roads that connect the provincial capital Hetauda to the federal capital Kathmandu.
In Ramchandra Bhanjyang of Indra Sarovar Rural Municipality-3, a landslide has blocked the road that passes through Sisneri, Kulekhani, Pharping, and Kathmandu, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Laksmi Bhandari.
Similarly, the landslides in Makwanpur’s Bhimphedi rural municipality-8 Mahadeo Tar road section have completely blocked the Kanti highway.
DSP Bhandari stated that efforts are being made to remove the landslide debris from the roads in order to make them passable for vehicles.
