Tribhuvan University Exam Office Goes Fully Online from June 29

Tribhuvan University’s Examination Controller Office (Panika), Balkhu, has officially announced that all its services will be available online starting June 29, 2025 (Asar 15, 2082 BS).

In a press release issued on Friday, Exam Controller Pushpa Raj Joshi stated that 10 essential academic services can now be accessed digitally. Previously, the office had already introduced an online system for transcript applications and related processes from April 2025 (Baisakh 2082 BS).

The office has successfully tested online payment integration as part of the digital upgrade.

10 Key Services to Go Online

According to the notice, the following services will be fully digitized and available online from June 29:

  • TU registration application form
  • Examination application form
  • Transcript issuance
  • Provisional certificate
  • Original academic certificate
  • Re-examination application
  • Academic document corrections (name/surname/registration number)
  • Educational recommendation authentication
  • Miscellaneous recommendation letters
  • Copies of transcripts and mark sheets

Academic Calendar Implementation

The Controller’s Office mentioned that with the implementation of the academic calendar, the examination process has become more structured, allowing timely result publication.

Although Tribhuvan University had initially announced back in January 29, 2023 (Magh 15, 2079 BS) that all services would transition to online mode, the initiative faced delays. However, since April 2025, the office has gradually been offering partial online services. With the latest announcement, the office is now moving to full online service operation from June 29.
