The monsoon system has now spread across the country as of Friday, according to a special weather bulletin issued by the Meteorological Division. The monsoon had initially entered from the eastern part of Nepal on Jestha 15, 2082 BS (May 29, 2025) and gradually extended to most parts of Koshi Province. By Jestha 29 (June 12), it had reached parts of Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and eastern Lumbini provinces.

Meteorologist Pratima Manandhar confirmed that the monsoon is now active across the entire country, including Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces.

Authorities urge the public to remain updated on weather reports and to avoid traveling through flood-prone or riverside areas during this time.
