In a ceremony at the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh on Thursday, Dhan Bahadur Oli, Nepal’s non-resident ambassador to Cambodia, gave the King of Cambodia Norodom Sihamoni his letter of credence.
According to a news release from the Nepali Embassy in Thailand, Ambassador Oli was given the opportunity to meet with the King of Cambodia after the letter of credence was presented.
The ambassador welcomed the audience and expressed the warmest wishes of President Ramchandra Paudel and the people of Nepal for the King’s personal well-being and happiness as well as the ongoing development and prosperity of the Cambodian people.
The king also sent greetings and best wishes for President Paudel’s personal well-being and happiness, as well as for the success of the Nepali people.
According to the Nepalese Embassy in Thailand, the Cambodian King expressed his hope that the ambassador’s term would further deepen the friendly, cordial, and cooperative relations between Nepal and Cambodia.
